Appropriation

In answer to the question posed at the of the presentation I have the following responses:

Whether I am explicitly referencing or purposely not acknowledge them is a good question which i have not considered.  My project has changed from being sport focussed to being people focussed so I now have a collection of portraits. I have taken these without considering my inspiration or visual materials. i have just tried to take good photographs.

The photographs I am using for the project are in a private area of my website so nobody can see them without my permission. This is largely because of the ethical responsibility I have in only showing these portraits in a way the subjects are happy with. I certainly think that charities could use the images but only with the subjects permission. I can also control their use by continuing to restrict access.
