I retired from the Army in 2015 after 37 years service and then worked for the MOD as an independent contractor until 17 Mar 17. I have now decided to do something I love rather than for personal gain. I now run Aardvark Photography primarily  to focus on my other love of sport.

Whilst serving I suffered a serious stroke in Jul 2009 which resulted in me being off work for nine months. I then suffered an RTA in Dec 2013  in which I had a head on crash on my side of the road. As a result I broke bones in my neck, back and eleven ribs.

I now help manage the Thundercats UK website and I am their photographer on a volunteer basis.

In starting on this new career I have had a lot of assistance from Ren Kapur, in particular, and her team from X-Forces.

I currently work from home and I am based in Lee on the Solent.
