Aardvark Photography | About

I retired from the Army in 2015 after 37 years service and then worked for the MOD as an independent contractor until 17 Mar 17. I have now decided to do something I love rather than for personal gain. In order to do this I  have established Aardvark Photography Ltd primarily  to focus on my other love of sport. I also like doing corporate events when required.

Whilst serving I suffered a serious stroke in Jul 2009 which resulted in me being off work for nine months. I then suffered an RTA in Dec 2013  in which I had a head on crash on my side of the road with a car going in the other direction.  As a result I broke bones in my neck, back and eleven ribs.

I am a volunteer photographer  and team member of Team Endeavour Racing (TER). TER is part of Prince William and Prince Harry’s Endeavour Fund set up to provide support to sick and wounded service people.  I have just become the team’s media rep and committed myself to this one day a week on a voluntary basis.  In addition I am studying for an MA in Photography with Falmouth University.  Finally at the Thundercats Racing Awards Ceremony on 10 Feb I was awarded the Photographer of the Year prize.

In starting on this new career I have had a lot of assistance from Ren Kapur, in particular, and her team from X-Forces.

I currently work from home and I am based in Lee on the Solent.
